37 YEARS OF OTTODISANPIETRO

This month we turned 37 years open. In these nearly four decades, our key values have maintained our trajectory smooth and solid. From its beginnings, OTTODISANPIETRO’s intention has been to be in fashion what galleries are to art: a curation of treasures. With sophistication and discreet elegance as our central pillars, luxury fashion and the great creatives of the industry arrived to A Coruña first, then to Europe. From then on, our community has diversified and expanded, attracting visitors both local and international. At times, our clients so willingly take trips to the city just to visit us. 

Getting here has been a journey. From appearances in Vogue Spain to the expansion of our stores, let us take you through some key steps of our story. 


March 13th, 1986: the opening

One week ahead of the spring of 1986, there bloomed the first OTTODISANPIETRO space: our womenswear store. Back then, clothing and accessories occupied the same space (they currently occupy different stores). Our store was the very first to offer brands like Prada and Jil Sander in the North of Spain. Our location has allowed us to maintain close relationships with some of our most coveted labels, such are Prada, Canali, Loewe, Jil Sander, Tod’s and Valentino. From the beginning, we’ve been some of the single retail spaces able to have brands like Prada, Gucci and other many great names in within the same space. 


October 20th, 2001: the men’s store

Under the same leitmotif of discreet elegance present in our women’s store, inspired by Giorgio Armani’s philosophy, and after constant suggestions from clients and sellers, we opened our menswear space. Thus, our men’s clothing store began with labels like Gucci, Prada, Etro, Saint Laurent and Dolce & Gabbana. OTTODISANPIETRO men is a space for both lovers of designer fashion, as well as those seeking exquisite quality clothing. Labels like Prada, Etro, Saint Laurent and Gucci have been with us the longest. 


2010: the online store

After the incorporation of the second generation in the family business, nearly twenty years of Élida Nogueira’s foundation of the company, there started the path towards the digital world. It is hard to imagine a world without online stores and e-commerce. The speed of growth makes it hard to realise its presence is of just under two decades. In 2010, OTTODISANPIETRO became a new internet domain, pushing forth its e-commerce and favouring the expansion beyond our known borders. Ever since, evolving with the times, our team has worked tirelessly to improve the online shopping experience. 


2020: the Vogue Spain mention

Though 2020 was mostly a year to forget, it was a great year for designer and luxury fashion. And for OTTODISANPIETRO, it meant a special mention in Vogue Spain’s top 10 multibrand stores in Spain. This recognition of our work is the great tip over an iceberg of evolution and build-up. From international expansion to the widening of our label offers, our consistency and close relationship to clients has made our journey forward solid.

With the advent of modern times, and the vertiginous speed of collections, our fashion curations become more and more current due to immediacy. Times have changed, rhythms are faster. Yet, our essence remains timeless.
