Founded in Tokyo in 1999 by Chitose Abe, Sacai reinterprets the everyday through the art of juxtaposition. The brand explores new silhouettes from classic garments, combining contrasting fabrics such as knit and chiffon, and techniques that transform form with striking freedom. With its hybrid and experimental approach, the house creates pieces that move fluidly between function and conceptual innovation. Its vision extends to both a women’s and a men’s collection, both shown in Paris since 2009.
