Color, Energy and Inclusivity: Versace at Ottodisanpietro

Gianni Versace founded Versace in 1987. Since then, the Italian luxury company has been defined by an unequivocal style that has embraced diversity and inclusivity. With a strong personality that has garnered a wide range of opinions, Versace is arguably one of the most influential luxury houses in contemporary fashion.

The exuberant looks with which Gianni surprised us on the runway for over a decade defined a one-of-a-kind universe and a particular woman's idea that had a great impact on popular culture. Slender silhouettes, vibrant colors and motifs, and maximalism made Versace a mainstream hit.

During Gianni's time at the helm of the House in the 1990s, we carried in-store several of his collections - founding a fantastic reception. After the designer's shocking passing in 1997, his sister Donatella became responsible for maintaining the relevance of one of the most important and representative Italian luxury houses.
For the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign Versace brought together supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, photographed by Steven Meisel.
In the last shows directed by Donatella, we have seen tributes to Gianni's codes: micro floral prints, asymmetries and lots of color.

We are pleased to announce that we will soon receive Versace again at Ottodisanpietro, including ready-to-wear, accessories and sneakers in a collection that pays tribute to the origins of the house and celebrates individuality and diversity. Surely, there will be something for everyone.
