There are brands that don't need campaigns, spectacular runway shows or front-row celebrities to generate desire. The Row, the label founded by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, presented its Autumn 2026 collection in Paris without allowing photographs, without dozens of cameras, without any of the usual apparatus of a show. Just the clothes, and the attention they deserve in person.
What this collection proposes is, on the surface, familiar: coats with voluminous shoulders, sharply cut wool trousers, cashmere jumpers in greys and blacks, and a palette that moves between black, earth tones and ivory. But familiarity at The Row quickly gives way to details that pull it away from repetition. Raw-cut organza edges appear, hints of frayed velvet, and layers of chiffon that lend the looks a faintly unfinished quality, paradoxically more sophisticated than any perfect finish.
At The Row clothing, coats remain the fundamental pillar. The Row Iza coat, in brushed gabardine-style cotton lined in silk, and the The Row Amapola are the keys to a collection where cut acts as the house's signature. Among The Row's bags, icons return such as the Marlo in sizes 12 and 14, the new icon The Row Peggy clutch, and silhouettes such as the 90's or the emblematic The Row Terrasse.
