FALL'S NEW ARRIVALS

Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection for Loewe immerses itself in the universe of Josef and Anni Albers, two pivotal figures of 20th-century modernism. Their work, focused on the perception of color and the value of the creative process, serves as the starting point for a proposal that once again merges fashion and art in perfect symbiosis. Loewe’s connection to contemporary art has long been evident, not only through its striking collaborations in clothing and accessories but also through unique initiatives such as the Loewe Craft Prize.

Anderson’s creative vision has consistently translated Loewe into a house with critical and artistic perspective, a canvas for both young and established artists. This season, five of Anni Albers’s innovative textile works are reinterpreted through artisanal techniques on handbags, knitwear, and outerwear that present fabric as a pictorial medium. Josef Albers’s legacy materializes in geometric compositions inspired by his Homage to the Square series, transforming emblematic models such as the Puzzle and Flamenco bags. With this project, Loewe also reaffirms its cultural commitment: part of the proceeds will support artisanal initiatives at Les Foyers de Tambacounda in Senegal.

The new Tibi collection draws inspiration from Antwerp, a city where historic heritage meets modern sensibility. Founder and creative director Amy Smilovic, together with Traci Bui-Amar, spent a summer exploring its architecture, interiors, and street style to create a collection that feels both timeless and contemporary. For this season, Tibi’s wardrobe experiments with proportion, layering, and reimagined materials.

Autumn silhouettes embrace modularity: a skirt suit in Italian wool is redefined through a cocoon-like jacket detail and a belted hem. Convertible zip-off jeans shift from full-length to Bermuda shorts, while elongated bomber coats echo motorcycle culture with a refined touch. Dresses feature detachable panels that go from midi to maxi, designed for layering over wide-leg trousers, the quintessential Tibi aesthetic.

The spirit of Tibi F/W 2025 resonates through the brand’s own codes. The clothes are like the women who wear them: solution-oriented, adaptable, and realistic. Details such as belts with glove loops or coats with internal backpack straps reaffirm Smilovic’s pragmatic vision. The result is a pure expression of the house’s celebrated philosophy of “Creative Pragmatism.”

Each season, a new collection from The Row sparks singular anticipation. For Fall/Winter 2025, the Olsen twins present a world of warmth and tactility, with a palette of earthy tones, camel, chocolate, olive green, and muted mustard. Rather than focusing on the cold, this collection celebrates the homely, sensory qualities of fabric.

As always, outerwear is generous, tailoring remains relaxed yet deliberate, and dresses unfold in light, layered silhouettes. Precision defines the atmosphere, expressed through exceptional fabrics: the return of corduroy, supple nappa, and silken layers. Accessories support rather than dominate, modern icons like the Marlo bag and rounded totes orbit a wardrobe firmly centred on the garment.

The Paris presentation in February, staged outside the traditional runway format, underscored intimacy and conceptual radicality. Models walked barefoot, with guests seated as though witnessing the everyday life of The Row woman. Subtle layers and nearly invisible details affirmed the maison’s position as a reference point for contemporary fashion. This is a vision of serenity and hope, conveyed through the language of refinement and craftsmanship.

For Fall/Winter 2025, Max Mara transports us to the windswept landscapes of Wuthering Heights. Ian Griffiths draws on the Brontë sisters’ intensity to shape a wardrobe both structured and deeply emotive. The key silhouette emphasises a cinched waist and elongated leg, with 18th-century-inspired redingotes updated with quilted, detachable linings. Arriving in our store are the house’s most emblematic tones and shapes: the camel palette, eternal silhouettes, and universal forms. Alongside them, jewel-toned greens, moss, and forest hues enrich the season.

Capes, coats, and cashmere pieces elevate the proposal, while berry reds and the exclusive Cascia shade convey a romantic melancholy. For the evening, black becomes the absolute protagonist, heightening the drama without departing from Max Mara’s defining palette.

In parallel, the S Max Mara line offers a lighter, everyday counterpoint. Sky blue and vivid red translate into feminine, classic silhouettes, each named and designed as an individual statement. Tailored suits, impeccable coats, and iconic staples extend the maison’s vision with consistency and ease. If the runway collection channels drama and romance, S Max Mara embodies timeless clarity, ensuring a wardrobe that is both practical and elegant.
