Intentional minimalism: Tibi’s clothing for the new season
Each season, Tibi transforms essential pieces into intentional ones. In this collection, neutral button-up shirts, solid tunics, and wide-leg trousers take on a new visual language with subtle details and impeccable construction.
This season is defined by oversized and enveloping shapes: knotted midi skirts, inverted blouses, and trousers that sit lower on the hips—without the need for belt loops.
For Smilovic, Tibi’s evolution follows a clear principle: innovation, but without losing its identity. This philosophy is evident in the new collection, which features relaxed yet sophisticated silhouettes crafted from tropical wool and rich-textured bio twill.
"We are constantly wanting to push ourselves and add onto what we already have. [The clothes] are always chill and always modern and classic. I think we understand very clearly who we are." Smilovic stated at the presentation.

The same essence, with new proportions
One of the greatest achievements of this collection is its balance between the familiar and the new. Balloon sleeves and structured waistlines add volume without the expected rigidity. Meanwhile, seamless finishes and angular collars provide a refined yet understated touch.
Despite its effortless appearance on the runway, Smilovic admits that constructing this collection was no easy feat. "When you take risks and experiment, challenges arise—but friction always makes the collection better," the designer explained.
For the first time in a while, the collection introduced more male models than in previous seasons, reflecting the growing interest of men in Tibi’s aesthetic. "We’re not a menswear brand, but our clothing fits them perfectly," Smilovic noted.
Tibi and "Creative Pragmatism"
Tibi has built an entire thought system around personal style. Its so-called Creative Pragmatism proposes a balance between functionality, modernity, and a touch of risk. It’s not about following trends but about building a versatile wardrobe with key pieces that reflect individuality. Living in the moment, and as the brand says:

To help define its philosophy, Tibi has developed its own glossary—the Tibictionary. It introduces terms like 12 Mo’er (garments wearable all year round), Chill, Modern, Classic (the formula for a balanced outfit), and Modifier (elements of personal expression within a structured look).
This vision also takes shape in The Good Ick, a platform created by Tibi to discuss fashion and style, challenging conventions and exploring the cultural impact of clothing. The concept of Good Ick is a paradox in English, used to describe the unique, slightly unconventional aspects of a garment that we love (as opposed to "ick," which refers to something unappealing).
Through this approach, Tibi remains true to its essence while continuing to evolve. The SS25 collection is an invitation to rediscover fashion from a more personal and intentional perspective, with new proportions and materials—while maintaining the coherence that defines the brand.
