Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez arrived at Loewe with a clear vision: to bring the house back to something more grounded and sensorial after Jonathan Anderson's decade of conceptual experimentation. Their debut Spring/Summer 2026 collection introduced this shift through the warmth of sunlight, sun-drenched skin and the saturated colours of the Mediterranean. Their pre-collection and Paula's Ibiza collection, conceived as transitions between seasons, continue to develop that spirit through a series of key pieces.
Among the highlights, the medium Amazona 180 in suede best encapsulates the direction of the new creative era. Created to celebrate the maison's anniversary, it returns to what has always defined Loewe most: exceptional leather craftsmanship. Alongside it, the Loewe Bilbao bag in dark chestnut and the Loewe black Scarf bag, distinguished by its knotted leather handle, reinterpret Loewe's artisanal heritage with the sense of wit that has long defined the house. Rather than featuring a traditional metal clasp or keyring, the Loewe Bilbao incorporates a functional bottle opener, a playful detail designed for the long days and lively evenings of summer. Meanwhile, the knots of the Loewe Scarf bag take inspiration from those used to tie silk scarves, creating an endearing silhouette for everyday wear. For quieter moments, the new Joya Pouch arrives in a striking sunrise orange, a shade unlike any other in this season's collection.
In Loewe womenswear, one standout piece is a brown midi dress featuring an asymmetric draped skirt and pleated ruffles at the waist. The design reflects codes that are already becoming central to Jack and Lazaro's language for the house: an elegant, distinctly feminine exploration of volume. Among the outerwear, a red cotton-and-silk gabardine jacket with leather detailing stands out as another defining piece. Finally, Loewe's charms continue to expand the brand's universe of everyday humour, with orange- and artichoke-shaped designs crafted in leather and brass bringing this vibrant seasonal selection to a close.
