MONCLER POLO SHIRTS

The sporty, classic air of Moncler polos is one of the many reasons Moncler polo shirts have such worldwide popularity. As the brand itself says, Moncler has reinterpreted the masculine classic (the polo shirt) and added their own graphic details, representative of the label, and refined their color scheme to present timeless yet unique items.

What’s in a Moncler polo shirt?

The new polos by Moncler are designed to fit the modern man from a size XS to a size 3XL, making their sizing quite diverse. Usually, the polos include some sort of version of the Moncler logo, often in the forms of patches on the chest or sleeve. Otherwise, the brand’s symbology will be embroidered or printed directly onto the polo shirt after the piece is completed.

The flag, the other and perhaps the most recognizable symbol of the house, became synonymous with the house in the 1960s, after the Moncler name became the official uniform provider for the French Olympic ski team. Said flag, the French flag, and its blue, red and white coloring usually find its way into the final design of these polos, either as stripes at the hem of the lapels, the sleeves, or both. The stripes on the lapels are sometimes just bicolor, adding a new version of an already recognizable item of modern fashion.

What materials are polo Moncler made in?

Cotton piqué is consistently the fabric chosen for the polo shirts by the Moncler house. The core design team of the house has chosen this fabric likely for its historical quality. Cotton piqué is a specific weaving technique for cotton surfacing in the 18th century United Kingdom. By weaving double cloth, high end cotton fabric is achieved, with results that stand the test of time.

Cotton piqué also makes the polo shirts quite comfortable, and the softness of the material remains consistent for many years of ownership. To maximize this quality, it is best to wash these pieces in cold water. This will prevent fabric shrinkage, and will keep our Moncler polo shirts soft and clean.
