Generally, the thicker the sweater, we assume a higher shelter against the cold. However, such is no universal law. How porous they are and the quality of the fibres used will influence highly the warmth of these pieces, being cashmere the preferred by many for its capacity to provide warmth while remaining slimmer in volume.
